Help Us Build Our Art Program to Include Ceramics

At Cornerstone Associates, we provide employment programs to help people with barriers to employment find meaningful jobs and build job skills. In addition, the Living Studios program provides Day Service Activities (DSA) for people that aren’t seeking employment.

  • A History of Success

The Living Studios program has been a great success by offering associates the opportunity to engage in cultural and social experiences in their communities through art creation and exploration. Our services reach those individuals who experience neurological differences and have aged out of work or who are not interested in employment services for a variety of reasons. These services allow artists in the program to explore different art mediums, be recognized as artists, participate in cultural events. Each artist Is given a voice socially, culturally and politically within their community.

    How Your Donation Will Help

Many of our artists work in 3-dimensions. They build models out of paper or recycled items. Their art is a way to express their life experiences and give voice to their (sometimes) limited expression. Our ceramics program is an investment in our artists by enhancing their ability to share their stories. Your donation will help us realize this goal. Funds will be used to purchase a pottery wheel, clay materials and tools as well as fund an artist-in-residence for one year.

Our goal is to raise $60,000 to fund the program for the first year and expect the program to be self-supporting in the following years.

  • Can You Help Us Meet Our Goal of $60,000 to Support This Important Program?

A donation of only $25 per month will help purchase new tools for the program. A one-time donation of $1,000 could help fund pottery kick-wheels for the program. Every donation will help us towards our goal. Thank you!
