Employment Services Manager
Under the supervision of the Executive/Vocational Director, this position is responsible for implementing the workforce development mission of Cornerstone Associates, Inc.
Position Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities
Oversight of CAI's community employment services to ensure quality services are being provided and are being done safely and in compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules, Oregon Developmental Disabilities Services requirements, County Mental Health contract specifications, Brokerage Service Agreement specifications, and Department of Vocational Rehabilitation regulations.
- Set and implement a comprehensive employment services strategy for the region that targets future needs and opportunities.
- Oversees and monitors the Individual Support Plan process for CAI. Understand the principles and philosophy of Oregon's Employment First Initiative and lead it's implementation through CAI’s employment programs and services.
- Ensure public relations with residential providers, CDDPs and sister agencies. Provide oversight and supervision/training/scheduling of employment specialist staff.
- Overseas clear procedures and documentation to assure that funding can be billed and obtained.
- Leads Employment Team meetings
- Coordinates and participates in activities between Marketing/Development to establish an outreach plan.
- Assures that staff communication with customers, families, partner agencies, funding partners and general community communications are courteous, and complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
Minor Responsibilities
- Work with the Executive Director, Vocational Director, Board Program Committee, and CAI Managers to create an environment in which CAI employees and associates are valued and treated with dignity and respect.
- Ensure good working relationships with residential providers, CDDPs, families of associates and other sister agencies.
- Strategize and monitor the transition of individuals to supported employment as well as movement through ISPs, CDPs and VR Plans.
Compensation
Salaryy: $55,000

Qualifications for the Position:
Education:
Bachelor degree preferred in field relating to education, social services or program development.
Experience:
3-5 years of management experience, ideally in a social service field.
Other:
- Perform duties independently with minimal supervision. Some of the decisions of this position are guided by established policies and procedures, but decisions will also need to be made with general policy guidelines and organizational values.
- Responsible for input on budgetary preparations and compliance accountability.
- Make recommendations and provide input on recommendations concerning long-range operational planning for the organization.

- Excellent supervisory, communications, and public relation skills required.
- Ability to make decisions that are in line with the mission.
- Able to balance working quickly and ensuring quality standards and specifications are met.
- Understand team processes and able to participate in team development and team oriented processes, with the ability to motivate others to do the same.
- Excellent computer skills with basic knowledge of basic software systems.
- Read and write in English (Spanish communication skills a plus)
